LadyBeast is a New Orleans based impresario and artist. Knowing no boundaries, LadyBeast redefines old world circus, meeting the audience at the intersection of awe, disbelief, and inspiration.
Currently represents Ripley's Believe It or Not as a featured feat and Interesting Individuals’ scout, casting consultant of Venardos Circus, TEDxTalk speaker, and a New Orleans Magazine People to Watch recipient.
FIRST WOMAN TO PERFORM A STRAIGHT JACKET ESCAPE WHILE HANGING FROM A HOT AIR BALLOON
MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER
In 2018, LadyBEAST was invited to do her famed straight jacket escape suspended from a hot air balloon at the Burning Man festival. LadyBEAST rose to the challenge, the first woman to achieve such a feat, and awed everyone in attendance. This experience honed her mission to illuminate the relevance of old-world circus arts in modern times.
Part social activism, part inspiration, this performance directly led to the invitation in 2019 to create a TEDx Talk. LadyBEAST's TEDx Talk provides a performer's perspective of how the spectacle of performance can inspire real action and change in society, modeling her message via a suspenseful bottle-walking routine. Physical performance and risk in the time of Covid became the impetus for LadyBeast to discuss stress for Creative Mornings - a podcast that selects artists from all genres to speak on relevant topics.

the coach
LadyBEAST is aware of the very real struggle to find excellent coaches in circus disciplines and was self-taught as a bottle walker. Able to connect with circus elders, she continued her training and continues to push the envelope in excellence. She has now begun to pass the tradition on to her peers and the next generation.
